MMS Group have successfully completed the Snapper on Rail Project in Wellington delivering the Civil Works for the E-Ticketing Validators and Advertising Screens for the Greater Wellington Regional Council (GWRC). Works includes a combination of Footing Installations, Concrete Works, Ducting for Comms and Electrical Cables, Power Box Installation, Bin Replacement and Asphalt Replacement on the Kapiti Line, Hutt City Line and the flagship Wellington Central Railway Station.
This Project was great initiative by Greater Wellington Regional Council and their Stakeholders for infrastructure development for users of public transport. MMS Group understood the importance of the project and adopted agile methodologies and other project management tools and techniques to complete the project. We in conjunction with the GWRC were working collaboratively day to day to rectify the challenges in change of Scope of Work for better infrastructure development for the public.
In all these challenges, MMS Group Project Manager Vineeth Nizampet and Site Forman Steven Broughton proudly completed the project which was handover on time, within budget and meeting with our “ZERO HARM” Policy for the public and workforce. We were proud to have partnered with GWRC in undertaking the E-Ticketing Validators and Advertising Screens Project for the Wellington rail customers.
