MMS Group completed industrial cleaning of Central station, Roma Street station and Varsity Lakes station for Queensland Rail in preparation for the Commonwealth Games.
The industrial cleans consisted of detail hand cleaning, high pressure water blasting and anti-slip coating at Central Station, cleaning of all glazing and acrylic surfaces at Roma Street station and cleaning of all glazing and acrylic surfaces along with high pressure water blasting of the concourse ceiling at Varsity Lakes station.
Our team of specialised high pressure water blasters and detail cleaners completed these works on very tight deadlines prior to the commencement of the 2018 Commonwealth Games, which kicked off on the Gold Coast on 4th April. The Games will see 71 Commonwealth Teams competing in 18 sports and seven para-sports in what is the largest integrated sports program in Commonwealth Games history. Since the Gold Coast’s winning bid was announced in November 2011, preparation has been underway to deliver an unforgettable 21st Commonwealth Games and MMS Group is proud to play a part in achieving that success.
