MMS Group has the responsibility of removing graffiti vandalism from properties located in the regions and suburbs administered by Wellington’s Hutt City Council.
Hutt City is the second largest city in the Wellington region. It is made up of Lower Hutt suburbs and the CBD, Petone and Eastbourne on the harbour and the wilderness of Wainuiomata’s parks and rugged south coast.
Working under legislation passed by the New Zealand government – the Hutt City Council (Graffiti Removal) Bill – MMS Group has been procured to remove graffiti from public and private property within the boundaries of the city.
We utilise two full time crew members and a floating urgent response operative to remove graffiti as it is reported. The company has linked in with Council electronic reporting and monitoring applications to identify and remove graffiti vandalism. The application also allows MMS staff to use it as a database to record recurring graffiti tags.
The implementation of MMS Group as primary graffiti removal contractor has given the region a 92% approval rating in regard to graffiti removal.
